Pulling Consumption Data for a New Lead

Know True-Up offers a convenient way to pull utility consumption data for potential customers

1.  Once logged into Know True-Up Click "+New" and then select "Quick Add".

2. Complete Customer Information on the form, then click "Select a reason" and choose "New Lead"

3. Under the "Settings" Tab, select the appropriate Utility from the drop down menu. Click "Enable Access" slider to Disable User Access.

4. Under "Actions" Select "None" for "Send Email to User" field.

5. If the customer account should be connected now, checkmark the “Connect Now” box, if it will be connected later, please click “Add User”. IN MOST CASES, YOU WILL CLICK CONNECT NOW IN ORDER TO PULL CONSUMPTION DATA IMMEDIATELY.

6. Select Correct Utility Provider under “Utility Requested” box. Then click “Connect User” shown in Red Boxes

There are 2 optional Toggles indicated by Green Boxes.

  1. “Notify me when data arrives”. This toggle when checked will send an email to the salesperson once consumption data for 12 months has been pulled for the prospective customer.
  2. Send Email to User field will allow you to notify the user via email of the connection process in case they need to come back to it at another time.

Once you click “Connect User” follow the on screen instructions specifically for the utility or solar inverter manufacturer you are connecting.

7. If you left "Notify me when data arrives" checked above you will receive an email notification as soon as 12 months of data is received with a link to the monthly consumption report you can directly use.
